Just before the start of the decisive crisis summit on the Euro, leading politicians of the SPD and Green party criticized Merkel's crisis management and demanded a radical rethinking from the German Chancellor. In a policy paper that was written in collaboration with the economist Prof. Peter Bofinger, the two opposition parties in the German parliament address the causes of the Euro crisis and the solutions that are needed now.
