Elena Gnant studied International Social Work (B.A.) at the EH Ludwigsburg and Newman University Birmingham, UK. She took a master's in Human Ecology (M.Sc.) at Lund University, Sweden, focusing on socio-ecological development and raw material politics. In March 2023 she joined the Globalisation and Transformation department with a focus on transformative political economy.
