Isaiah Lopaz is a writer and a transdisciplinary artist whose work frequently revolves aroundAfrican and Afro-Diasporic histories, religions, customs and cultures. Born in occupied Tongvaterritory in 1979, Lopaz was raised in a working class African American home. He identifies asqueer and is a descendent of African, Geechee, Muskogee, and Ojibwe peoples.
